About Knightdale

Knightdale is a town in Wake County, North Carolina, United States. The population was 5,958 at the 2000 census, and estimated at 9,843 in January 2008. With the population boom experienced in the North Carolina Research Triangle area in the past two decades, Knightdale has in many ways become a suburb of Raleigh, bordering that city at the Neuse River. The estimated population of the Raleigh-Durham-Cary Combined Statistical Area (CSA) was 1,565,223 as of July 1, 2006, with the Raleigh-Cary Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA) portion estimated at 994,551 residents.

Knightdale Drive In Movie

Knightdale Parks & Recreation is hosting it's first drive in movie next Friday (May 16th) in the parking lot of the old Winn Dixie, beside the Hardee's off 64. They will be showing Grease and will have concession stands. You'll turn your radio to the selected station once you pull in and that's it. Will start around 8ish once it's dark outside. There is no cost.

This information was passed to me via email and I didnt see it listed anywhere on the Parks and Rec site. Call Michelle an Administrative assistant to verify the details! Her number is 919.217.2232 if anyone needs/wants more information!
